A few days ahead of the kick-off of Game of Code, not only many teams of young geeks and tech students have already enrolled for the 24 hours coding challenge, but the project has also fired the enthusiasm of many companies, some of which have decided to play an active role in the event. Nicolas Griedlich, Senior Manager, told IT One why Deloitte Luxembourg has decided to enroll a team in the contest.
IT One: You have decided to support the Game of Code initiative and even to enroll a team of developers. Open data seems to be the challenge that interests you most. For what reasons?
N.G. : "Even if we already developed projects based on Open Data, it will be a challenge for us to deal with the diversity of sources proposed by the Game of Code initiative, combining them and producing meaningful insights. The technical challenge is not the only reason for our participation. Indeed, it is an opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds, culture and also demonstrate that code development can be fun."
